Is it ok for my 4 month old to sleep 12 hours overnight with no feedings?

We have started sleep training with my four month old. When she has been waking up at night we have just been giving her a pacifier and putting our hand on her chest. She usually falls asleep quickly. We used to feed her when she would wake up but since she has been accepting of the pacifier we have not. Her last feed at night is 7:30pm and she typically wakes up at 7am. I have started wondering if that is too long for her to go without food, because I have read that this is okay at 6 months, not 4. At the same time if she were hungry I would think she would reject the pacifier and continue to fuss upon waking. She is a good eater during the day and is above average in length and weight as per out last dr. appt.

I told her and she called in a real nurse, I told her about what happened and she said "Yes we know about her, but can't do anything about it, she has been warned many times about her behavior and has threatened to sue the Hospital for racial harment". This will be long but PLEASE BARE WITH ME! Ok so first off im 16 years old. I had been waiting for the right girl to come along for a while. So back in october of '09, i met this girl who (at that time i didnt know), would mean the absolute world to me, again she was my first girlfriend. So we have been together ever since, (about a year and a half). The first year of us being together was great but she moved about 30 minutes away from me, so it turned long distance. we loved each other very much, but things were getting just a little stressful because (long story), i couldnt drive to see her whenever i wanted to and her dad didnt want her spending the night anymore, even though she had done that plenty of times before she moved away. So i kept trying to tell her that we DONT HAVE TO BE A STATISTIC OF A FAILED LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP. But it was hard to have her believe that. Then last night (May 3rd) she ended it :(((. We had the absolute best times together, everytime i hear a song (basically no matter which one) i think of her. We were on the phone and i just started balling my eyes out because AS SHE WAS BREAKING IT UP, Its like our while relationship flashed right before my eyes, from the very first few weeks of me knowing her to that moment last night. Im so heartbroken right now! I remember the very first time she hugged me and i still get erflies even to this day! I remember our first kiss too, it was the best feeling of my life! Nausea for 4 days after 24 hour stomach virus...?

I got the stomach flu or a stomach virus on Sunday 12/12 and I am still experiencing intense nausea after 4 days of having the virus. Is it just the virus leaving my body? I also, unfortunately, started my period on Monday 12/13 so it could also be contributing to the nausea. The nausea is usually worse in the mornings and if I lay around all day it gets better, but today it's been all day. I know I should eat, but everything sounds so gross. It sounds like you are very involved, idk if I recommend taking a sport. It sounds like you are very involved already and sports can take a lot of time and grades tend to drop. If you haven't done a sport your first two years in high school I don't think you would have a good chance of being good enough chance of being a team leader as a walkon junior(no offense-just don't think it would be easy you would have to be good). I would throw the ice cream & stuff away. But as far as the rest of the stuff if it is not thawed all the way just keep it & refreeze. Ive been having faciel pain around my sinuses ( near the eye eyebrow bone) for close to 3 weeks. Ive also have a congested nose with thick light yellow mucous ( light shade of yellow almost white.) Chances are my doc. will give me antibiotics to cure what i have ( which seems like a sinus infection). But im afraid that i have a viral infection instead of a viral one. Thoughts on this Black Metal Band?

WIITR is the band that got me listening to black metal actually. To be fair, I'm still quite new to the genre as well, and I come from more of a punk background (including a lot of crust and other metal influenced punk though). And most, though not all, of the black metal I listen to is on the more ambient and atmospheric end (eg: Xasthur, Weakling, Summoning, Drudkh, Procer Veneficus, Velvet Cacoon). They are also one of only two band that I've ever traveled a decent distance to see (the other being Amebix, both of which were at least 5 hours each way). I also like their political stance, which is more than I can say for a lot of the black metal bands I listen to. So I like them. At the same time, I can see why some raw black metal types would dislike them, especially some of the post-rock influence, but personally, I like it a lot. Their first full-length, Diadem of Twelve Stars is a little less ambient, if that is what bothers you.

I'm finding it very difficult to finish any book I start so I'm obviously poking around in the wrong place and need direction. I've read The Iliad and Odyssey completely which I adored. I looooove poetry and also find Poe easy for me to pay attention to. I want to start with a clic/well known author to delve into the world of literature, love it, then wander down my own path. I've tried reading so many books but find myself frustrated because I hate how the author writes, or just find the book boring. For example, I just read 20 pages of "A million little pieces" and I'm sitting here wishing I'd have stared off at the wall instead. Books that involve a lot of repetition (walking in circles) and talk about the same thing for 20 pages don't really strike me as awesome. I checked with the vet for some good brands. I do check for low ash content. If you have a male cat the residue can plug him and he won't be able to urinate. I forget what a low ash content would be so check with your vet. I NEVER feed cheap food as it is bulked up with cereal.

Hi, its my EDD tomorrow and since Friday night I have been having "contractions" my belly goes really hard at the top and the pain spreads round to the bottom of my back, I have alot of pressure at my pelvis and also at my bottom (like I need a number 2) Ive been having loose stools and increased l mucus, ive not done anything about it as they are painfull but not unbearable and they are really irregular sometimes stopping for hours at a time, and ive still been able to sleep at night. Turkey is healthier than beef. You can cook them in the microwave for a couple minutes, flip and another minute or so. Comes out a little dry but if you are in a hurry that is a way. If you want to cook it in a pan, use cooking spray, or if you don't have that, a little olive oil and don't put the heat up past a third of the way up (like on a 4) Turkey has less fat so you have to add a little fat or cooking spray to the pan or it will stick. I like mine with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (not garlic salt that is too strong) A splash of worchestershire sauce isn't too bad as well.

If you are designing a boiler then it should be treated as a pressure vessel and you should follow a code such as BS5500 or ASME VIII. If you can find out the steel used for your gas canister and check the dimensions and thicknesses are ok to one of the specs above then it would be safe.

In conversations I have been involved in, I notice that people say there is so much suffering in the world due to sin. And that brings me to the question: where did sin come from? Now, the obvious answer to that is indeed the Devil, but that is the part I don't understand. God apparently created the angels, of which the devil was one. A group of angels then rebelled against God and fell from heaven. These angels were supposedly full of sin. But God, being omniscient, must have known this would have happened before he created the rebellious angels. Why did he not just create the good angels and not the bad ones like Lucifer. Moreover, how did these angels become rebellious and sinful in the first place? They were meant to be created perfect, and something that is perfect cannot become imperfect, for then it could never have been perfect in the first place (despite perfection being impossible anyway). God therefore must have created these angels imperfect, just as he must have created Adam and Eve imperfect, and so ultimate blame therefore must lie on his shoulders. Furthermore, he is omnipotent, therefore he could have just destroyed the devil after the rebellion he already knew was going to happen happened (this would have also stopped the devil from tempting Adam and Eve to bring imperfection into the world). I am interested because God apparently hates sin, yet all beginnings of sin seem to lead back to him.

I used a cat psychologist to help me with my Siamese and her pricey advice was right on accurate and so I will p it along to you for free! In the peek-n-play toy (try searching for one on ebay) put treats or small toys- they have to work to get them out and that's all part of the prey sequence that cats crave apparently. If that doesn't work, try some calming spray, Feliway, its a calming mist that you spray and it is full of hormones or pheromones. They also have plug in units of this stuff that work well too. If you use both of these methods, I know you will see some real results!!

I would insulate the room as much as you can and then provide her with a lot of hay and things to sleep in. She is very lucky that you are even keeping her indoors and out of the elements, outdoor is when you really need to be worried. Hostile Environment Unemployment claim chance?

Yesterday I quit my job, and now the reality is setting in and today, I put in a bunch of applications, but all the places say they weren't hiring. I was wondering if my case qualifies for Hostile environment and can get UI benefits. During my Interview, I was never told this would be a part time job, and never said anything about having to work up to receive hours. I received 20-26 hours a week, while two other cooks got overtime (40+), and another cook who started a week before, was getting 30-35 hours. My third day while working at this job, my boss yelled at me and another Co-worker for missing a order he called down saying "Shut the F*** up, and open your F***ing ears!", the next day, same thing happen and he Screamed something similar. A day or so after (possible the same day, can't quiet remember), my boss yelled at me to go into the walk-in and grab the Veggies that were prepared. I had no idea where these were, and asked, he slammed tongs down on the line and went out there and grabbed them himself. A few days after that, he ordered me to go in there and grab the Veggies and Lobster tails. I ran in there, grabbing the lobster tail that took me several minutes to find, (i normally have no dealings with this item) and ran inside to hurry and get it under cool water to thaw it out. He runs back to see what I was doing, and noticed I didn't grab the Veggies also (which is in a 600 pan (Large and somewhat heavy, I couldn't grab both the frozen box of lobster and Veggies at the same time)), he runs out side Slamming the door outside as hard as he could. My boss, and the other cooks, would scream at servers, cursing them if they didn't grab the food out of the window as soon as it was finished, Constantly (ALWAYS) referring the servers (female) "B****es". I Once asked a cook, about ual Harment, and told me "This is a laid back working environment, if you don't like it, you need too find another job." I am somewhat of a slow learner, and takes me some time too learn a new menu, which i warned them about prior to hiring. I Was constantly being told I was slow, and sucked at my job, in front of other employees.(By other co-workers, the bosses nephew to be exact, and complaining about him, would have only caused worse problems, I can guarantee). What caused me to actually quit Monday, was a outside of work friend of the Boss, was hired, and told me he would be getting roughly 40 hours a week, where as i was still scheduled to average about 20-26 hours a week. I have panic attacks, (self diagnosed, dad would never take me to a doctor) and would find myself shaking days I had to come in, worried about disappointing the boss, and being yelled at and Ridiculed in front of the whole Staff. I'm not one to milk the system, I want to find a job, but work here is Scarce, What are my chances of Qualifying for Unemployment? I'm in Wyoming, not sure if the law changes per state. Camera memory card virus, keeps on reappearing?

I believe the viruses are actually on your computer rather than the memory card. Last year my school was infected with the autorun.inf virus. Their ideas on its origin on our network was that a student had the virus on his home computer, used his flash drive there, and then used it again at school. The virus then moved itself onto hundreds of computers on the network and onto every flash drive used on one of the infected workstations. This was a huge problem, and the entire network was shut down for about three weeks. Luckily, you don't have nearly as many computers to repair. Download or install an AntiVirus program and run a full scan, the infected files should be found and removed. Always make sure you have AntiVirus software installed, because a virus can cause huge problems eventually. Good luck!

Well, I couldn't agree more. Of course I'm 55, and grew up with those guys, the Beatles, Stones, CSNY and some great music. I can't stand any band I see on TV or catch on radio any more; they all seem ridiculous and they all sound alike.
