Why does my cat keep bringing her 6 day old kittens out to the living room where we all spend our time?

my cat had her kittens on the top bunkbed so i moved them to a room under the stairs along with her food and litter,she's been fine i read on the net not to touch the bedding for 3 days so i didnt but yesterday i washed the bed they were staying in and put them all in a big box which again she was fine with,then this morning for some reason my son decided to put a quilt in the box and ever since then my cat keeps grining the kittens out to the living room where we all are, i got the bed i had washed and put them all back under the stairs but she just brought them back out she's fine with the bed not with being in the room on her own,should i just leave her to do what she wants??, also she keeps getting one of them out and playing with almost like trying to teach it something,strange as its the only one thats just starting to open its eyes?
