Should States Abolish The Death Penalty To Save Money?

i believe reducing the amount of time that is wasted on appeals could reduce the debt even further. i believe once the convicted criminal is sentenced to death the execution should take place in six months or less. a large part of the major cost with criminals sentenced to death is housing and feeding for years on end as lawyers play games with the system trying to save the criminal. limit the time for appeals, if they don't work in the allotted time execute the criminal
