I wonder about limps versus lips. Is it a typo?

Having seen it advertised as plump limps AND lips for products to make lips more full, I wonder what is up with the spelling. When we first saw "limps" my mother and I cracked up laughing that such a typo had gotten to print but now I've seen people writing responses on boards referring to them as "limps" too. Is that just a common typo or are people really meaning to say plump "limps"?!
