It doesn't matter anymore?

My boyfriend and I had a fight and he's away for 2 wks. Anger/ hurt/ jealousy(he has) - would a guy make a statement such as "it doesn't matter anymore" and truly mean it or could he say it because of holding on to those negative feelings? He has said he loves me, can he miss me when the anger/hurt goes away??? And not really have meant a permenant end? He's codependant too.Plse answer my 2 ques. Help????
