Why do people accuse Obama of being incompetent and socialist no more than 3 months into his presidency?

Not that I'm saying I wholeheartedly agree that he's this nation's savior, but at the same time, he's hardly been in office. I'm growing pertubed with incessant topics regarging allegations about things he hasn't even done, things that are a farcry of the truth considering the amount of time he's been elected. The stimulus package, I'll agree, is a bit sketchy, but when Bush threw this nation into Iraq, I was at least willing to give him a chance to prove himself. And socialism? I honestly have no idea where people are coming up with the notion that we're all going to be socialists in the near future.
