Do you pay attention to ingredients in cat food before buying?

I checked with the vet for some good brands. I do check for low ash content. If you have a male cat the residue can plug him and he won't be able to urinate. I forget what a low ash content would be so check with your vet. I NEVER feed cheap food as it is bulked up with cereal.
